We had a lovely stay (me, husband and baby) at the Lion. The rooms were lovely and felt a bit special with the nice products etc. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a really brill breakfast in the morning. My veggie breakfast was really fab and even nice veggie sausages! Most of all the staff were SO lovely. My one year old can be fussy but we didn’t feel self conscious and she was made to feel special too :) thank you everyone! The pub is also really cosy :)) x

Stopped for lunch, had an amazing smoked Salmon and cream cheese sandwich with some fries. Nice selection of local beers. Plenty of parking behind the pub.

We took advantage of the the Free to Stay offer (basically you stay free and the cost of room is off set against your drinks/food for evening and breakfast meals). Excellent value for money. We sampled the new menu and all (4 of us) enjoyed our meals. Great food, rooms, welcoming stay and staff. We will be back!

Stopped in for a quick drink. Really lovely place with loads of space. Loads of tables and loads of parking. Will be excellent in the sunshine in the massive beer garden. We will 100% return for a meal at some point.
